Overview
My role involves cold calling and sending emails to prospects. My role specifically reaches out to companies with no existing relationship with Adobe. As well as this, I research the companies and industries I am contacting, to fully prepare for a call or email.
Skills
I have developed my communication skills, as this is key to being a BDR. Asking questions and being able to obtain information from customers is vital for future development. My Excel skills have also significantly improved, as use Excel on a regular basis. I also developed my research skills, which I need in order to prepare for calls.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given the responsibility to manage accounts given to me by Account Executives, where I was expected to research and contact the accounts, in a structured cadence. I was also given the responsibility of creating and presenting a presentation to my team and managers.
Support & Guidance
I was given support and guidance from beginning to end of my internship. Everyone I met helped me in some way and I felt like I could always ask questions, even if they felt silly. My managers and team offered guidance throughout and only wanted the best for my development.
Culture
The company culture is great! Everyone is super friendly, engaged and supportive. Working at Adobe feels like a big family. I always felt comfortable when in the office. Adobe work really hard to ensure everyone feels included and accepted.
Your Impressions
I have enjoyed my internship very much. The people are really what makes Adobe great, and the company recognises that from top to bottom.
Yes
If you are looking to work for a company with a great, inclusive culture, with lots of social opportunities, then Adobe is perfect for you! Make sure to ask questions whenever you are unsure about something. No question is a stupid question and you will learn that very soon.
