The Role
The placement was really nice, I learnt a lot of things, I had a lot of autonomy and the atmosphere was relaxed.
All my colleagues were very nice to me, and we had nice pub lunches sometimes.
Every time I had a problem or a question my supervisor or another one was here to help me.
I was busy most of the time, almost never bored. I just have been a little been bored sometimes but it's because of the nature of the work I did.
I had quite a lot of responsibilites as I had to deliver important molecules with had to be very pure for animal dosing.
I never learnt so much in one year before and as I am doing a degree in chemistry, it's perfect.
The Company
It was very nice, very relaxed, always music, no worries to ask for something.
Quite well organised with a training at Bristol at the beginning of the year, and some lectures for the placement students.
I learnt to work in a team and to do presentations in front of people.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would like to get a job there but the places are very rare...
The Culture
Yes the social scene was well developed.
The rents were expensive so househaring is necessary. Except that it was fine.
Only one club, not a very good one. Quite a lot of pubs but which all look the same.
Not really.
