Overview
Supporting immigration compliance for employees relocating within Europe, ensuring adherence to Global Mobility policies and supporting the transition of employees relocating.
Skills
Developed administration skills through experience and completing additional qualifications, gaining exposure to HR policies and procedures and enhanced communication skills due to the nature of the role.
Responsibilities
During my time as an apprentice I was trained adequately enough to have my own case load and enough experience to become a main point of contact for stakeholders and the ability to support business requirements. I worked within a team which were supportive and provided me with the relevant training where needed.
Support & Guidance
I was provided with excellent support from my line manager, team members, wider HRSS team, and line HR throughout. If i needed additional training there was multiple options for me to help advance in my career, i had regular 1-1's, adequate talent/performance management and support from my college throughout my apprenticeship in regards to safeguarding.
Culture
The company culture within Cummins is people focused and highlights the importance of integrity throughout the organisation. Ethical principles are always promoted and the positive work culture provided a great place to work. Emphasis on employee performance and wellbeing are noticeable and powering your potential of your career is something that is encouraged from leadership.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship at Cummins as it provided me with the personal development and work opportunities in order for me to secure a permanent position. It highlighted the values which are needed to successful work for the organisation and promoted inclusive behaviours which made it a great experience. Opportunities for further development and networking is readily available, and the employees are always more than happy to help.
