Overview
So far in my role I've had to: - communicate and collaborate with partners of the organisation - support with the execution of a number of client facing events, webinars and webcasts - generate and update reports that track the progress of my teammates deals
Skills
A lot of my soft still have developed significantly since the start of my internship. It happens naturally as you start to interact with people from different position levels and parts of the business.
Responsibilities
As time passed I was give more and more responsibility on the projects that I was a part of. It all comes down to how reliable you are and whether you can be trusted with following up on a task.
Support & Guidance
A healthy amount I would say. Enough to not be completely lost but also to me keep me on my toes. It pushed me to go to teammates and colleagues with questions on different matters. It helps you practice asking about things without being ashamed of not knowing.
Culture
In complete honesty I think Adobe'll make working for different companies difficult. They take care of they employees and they do it well. The people are generally nice and ready to help out when needed.
Your Impressions
I want to return as a graduate which I guess means quite a lot. In complete honesty though, the internship was great. The Talent Acquisition team is also working on making it event more curated to the interests and need of university students so you'll be in good hands. I learned a lot and now I have a lot of the base line good practices to help me progress.
Yes
The company has 2 main branches: - DX - Digital Experience - DME - Digital Media (Creative Cloud + Document Cloud) Make sure to look them up and voice what your interests/ strong suits are because that can massively help with where you end up in the company. You can have a lovely experience in both branches but you'll have an amazing one if you're in the part of the business that suits your personality.
