    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assist the Power Systems Business Unit (PSBU) Communications Team in partnership with your peers across the Power Generation or Marine and Oil & Gas markets, by working in close contact with external partners and internal stakeholders on a global scale. Assist in the development, management, planning and scheduling of content for social media platforms. Assist with the execution of external publication, customer stories, news, and press releases. Create content and update external website and internal intranet sites. Assist with the management of online and print advertising. Assist in development and execution of events, including working with third party relationship management. Assist with literature, presentation, and display material development.

  • Support and guidance throughout. Everyone was willing to help and offer support. There was full training upon starting the placement which helped my experience and how I grew into the role.

  • Get involved in CIT/EEEC initiatives as you can meet work collogues in different job roles as well as helping out the local community. Cummins likes to hear about your hobbies and your life outside of work so that is always something good to mention.
