Overview
On a day to day basis, this role includes creating custom customer vision demos to show to Adobe's customers so they have an idea of the value that Experience Cloud products can give. We also have the opportunity to learn how to use one of the solutions and demo it.
Skills
I've learnt many new skills, especially on the creative cloud including Photoshop and Adobe XD. I've also improved my public speaking ability and organisational skills as sometimes deadlines are quite tight.
Responsibilities
I was given some responsibility in my internship - for example making custom experience stories for customers. There's always opportunities to stretch yourself, so it is really up to the individual to have more or less responsibility.
Support & Guidance
The support at Adobe was amazing. I personally had contact with 3 different managers, who helped me whenever I had issues and supported me, while also encouraging me to push myself. I also had a mentor from a different part of the business who I could talk to about any problems I was facing.
Culture
The culture was truly amazing. Everyone was so friendly and wanted you to succeed. People were always willing to let you shadow them, even if they weren't on the same team. There are lots of groups you can join as well which helped the feel that Adobe was a community.
Your Impressions
My Placement was very good, and I'm grateful that I did it - would recommend to anyone.
Yes
Make sure you do your research on the products Adobe has to offer (it's not just creative!) And try to build an actual connection with your recruiter - they can help you a lot with the process :)
