Overview
I am responsible for emailing new propsective accounts, sourcing the contacts and searching for new business as well. I also analyse accounts on Salesforce to see what their current spend is, if they have any, and also send out email campaigns based around the product I am pitching to them. I also call customers and encourage them to have a discovery call with Adobe for my Account Executives. I also get involved with presentations at the side as well.
Skills
I have enhanced my communication, time management and analytical skills throughout my year at Adobe. I have found my attention to detail has increased, and I am able to manage ,y work load better than before I started. I have also found the ability to communicate in the workplace within a corporate environment, as well as becoming more confident when speaking to prospective accounts over the phone. My soft skills have enhanced throughout my placement year.
Responsibilities
I have become responsible with group projects as well as projects on the side that my manager has provided me with. I have worked alongside the senior director as well as managers, AE's in my team and interns on external projects. I have had the opportunity to manage accounts and contact them, by representing Adobe. I have been given a large amount of responsibility and professionalism I have been required to maintain throughout my year.
Support & Guidance
Since the day I started I have been given a vast amount of support and guidance from both my managers and AE's in my team. Everybody at Adobe has always been willing to answer my questions and/or concerns and they have always responded in a friendly and efficient manner. My managers have been friendly throughout and have always been there for me throughout my year, helping to lend a hand along the way.
Culture
The company culture has always been professional and friendly, with everybody always willing to help you throughout your time here. I have always enjoyed coming into the office and chatting/socialising with people both in my team and in other teams. I have found everybody at Adobe to be kind and professional, and the overall atmosphere in the office is relaxed and fun. I have had no worries in terms of the company culture at Adobe.
Your Impressions
I have absoloutely loved my placement year at Adobe, and I would love to be considered for another role here on a graduate scheme. I have enjoyed the job, networking with the different departments, as well as my team, and the overall company culture. My placement year has enhanced my soft and interpersonal skills and I have grown as an individual since I started. It has tested me in so many positive ways since July.
Yes
To be yourself and to make sure the role you are applying for is what you would like a career in, or that you are interested in exploring further. I did a sales role as I wanted to kickstart my sales career, and I have loved every second of it, as well as networking with other departments in the business. I think that any role at Adobe is enjoyable and fun, and you shouldn't think twice about applying.
