Overview
Work with Portfolio Management team, tracking financial data. Support with Pipeline growth strategy and utilisation tracking.
Skills
Developed Excel skills, professionalism, confidence, stakeholder management, business strategy, presentation, time management skills.
Responsibilities
Yes - my manager empowered me to reach out to senior people and carry out work for them. I have worked with and presented to senior leaders on a number of occasions.
Support & Guidance
A lot. My Task Manager set up a daily call, so we could discuss tasks and any challenges. My Foundation Manager provided a lot of support with business processes, expenses, access approvals, etc.
Culture
Due to business downsizing, the atmosphere was slightly fraught and difficult at times, but everyone was very supportive of the Early Professionals during this.
Your Impressions
A large extent. I felt empowered and like I was able to make a positive difference on the business. It helped me decide what I excel at, and what I would like to do in the future.
