Overview
Approving and developing merchandise, such as toys and products for giveaways. I support the team as a whole, in creative and admin.
Skills
I have learned how to use adobe suite, as well as improving my confidence talking to external licensees. I also learned a lot in time management and how to present.
Responsibilities
Yes. I was given licensees fo manage day to day, overseen by my manager.
Support & Guidance
My manager was always there to ask for help if I needed. The rest of the team are always open to give advise and support. Everyone was happy to sit with me and take me through their work.
Culture
The atmosphere is very relaxed, wellbeing was certainly a priority. They are a bit flexible with the hours you work, but not with how often you come into the office.
Your Impressions
There were so many amazing opportunities and events I was able to attend. There were points where we were quite busy and my work got a bit samey, but there were also moments where I got given creative work, which was enjoyable.
Yes
Disney is very welcoming and lets you be yourself, so express yourself in your application! We have to be in the office 4 days a week in Hammersmith so consider financially if this would work for you, as it is quite an expensive area!
