The Role
It was enjoyable. the hours were very good and the team around me were very friendly. At times the work load was not challenging enough however
I did receive help whenever needed and did feel valued
My Supervisor was always around to give me a helping hand
Some days were busy however most days of the week there would be patches of hours where not much work was being done at all due to the lack of it
I was given responsibility to look after many vendors during my placement so there was a lot of responsibility given to me.
I am studying Logistics and thi role directly related to my degree and at times provided me with more of a practical understanding of my course.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and was very fun.
I was supposed to have two roles - swapping half way after 6 months but this was not the case as there was not enough time to train me for the swap.
i was sent me many site visit and vendor trips to deveop myself and gain more of an understanding of how the company and its' clients work together,
Flexi Time
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
It is a very big organisation offering many other opportunities after graduating.
The Culture
There were 10 students all together at the Worthing GSK site. We did however have to arrange to meet each other up ourselves.
it is a cheap place to live but it was almost impossible to find a fully funished home.
The nightlife is Worthign was poor however with Brighton only being a 15minute train journey away it was very lively.
I played football / Cricket regularly for GSK after work on Thursdays and Tuesdays.
