Overview
My role is a blend of administrative tasks such as organising and storing scripts, managing trackers, arranging meetings, expenses, diary management, liaising with other departments, etc and creative tasks such as reading scripts/ pitch materials, preparing internal presentations for leadership, watching cuts of series in post-production, writing development notes, etc.
Skills
I have developed communication skills - both written and verbal. I have learned the craft of script development and writing coverage for materials.
Responsibilities
We were responsible for liaising with personnel of various seniority and were held accountable for certain key elements of the department's functioning - this helped in personal and professional development.
Support & Guidance
I had bi-weekly 1:1 chats with my manager and impromptu conversations via email, text or in the 0office. it is a very supportive environment!
Culture
The company culture was very relaxed yet passionate about their work. They genuinely care about each other as a team and their work.
Your Impressions
I absolutely loved the internship and gained more than I had expected. This is the reason I decided to get an extension into the summer!
