Overview
I looked after the benefits and compensation for all employees in the UK and Ireland. This involves handling and responding to cases involving salary, incentives(both financial and non financial)
Skills
Throughout my placement I developed skills such as stakeholder management, utilising the Microsoft excel tool, communication, time management, email drafting, mentoring, consulting and data analysis
Responsibilities
Yes I was given a great deal of responsibility when it came to case management, enforcing reward policy and implementing procedure.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support both from within my team and outside of my team. I always felt supported and uplifted when ever I struggled with anything. The transparency between my manager and I was also good. I felt like I could go to her with anything
Culture
Very diverse, tolerant and friendly. You genuinely feel you can interact and speak with anyone. At times it doesn't feel like there is any sort of hierarchy. The are also a lot of inter company events to keep employees engaged.
