Overview
• Analysis of energy, waste and effluent data • Map out material waste generation processes for top losses in factory • Identify projects for waste reduction and lead from feasibility to execution • Responsible for verifying expense reports figures and flagging any deviations • Responsible for creating robust waste tracking measures on the factory floor • Responsible for achievement of tonnage targets of waste reduction for the factory • Managing all stakeholders and producing periodical reports to update on projects progress

Responsibilities
I was working on a project individually, so the responsibility fell on my shoulders which allowed me to ensure certain tasks were done correctly.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support when I joined (2/3x weekly meetings) to ensure that I knew what I was suppose to be doing and could engage with the structure of the factory that I worked in.
Culture
Everybody worked well as a team and it was useful to identify everybody's roles and responsibilities to allow you to ask for help by relevant people.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the challenges that I occurred as it was nothing like anything that I had done before and I feel grateful to achieved and learnt so much within the 12 months that I worked there for.
Yes
Don't be afraid to branch out and try something different, as there are plenty of opportunities to change roles once you are in the company.
