The Role
People were supportive and helpful, lots of opportunities to learn, great company to be a part of.
Really got on with colleagues, everyone is very happy to help.
Great deal of support from my manager who was very patient and happy to explain everything and answer all my questions!
Most of the time pretty busy but not too busy.
Developing my own experiment, work independently in the lab and am given responsibility over my project.
Really valuable, have learnt a lot and feel a lot more confident in the lab as well as being in a workplace environment.
The Company
Really get on with people I work in, good atmosphere.
Very well organised by GSK, we are contracted through another company, SRG, who had some problems but mostly it has been well organised.
Lots of opportunities for development, with seminars specifically for interns run, careers day and tutorials.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Fast track programme to graduate scheme, but the selection process is still very rigorous.
The Culture
Great social scene with more than 100 students.
Fairly cheap, rent very reasonable and included bills.
Not great but the social scene was good so it wasn't a major issue.
Sports centre at work gave opportunities, and I have done volunteering work around Stevenage this year which I enjoyed.
