Overview
Assisting meteorologists in their daily tasks. This includes creating products for aviation, environmental and media services. For example helping to write forecast scripts for the Met Office's public weather service.

Responsibilities
Some responsibility was given, although I feel some tasks felt a little too easy and inconsequential.
Support & Guidance
Management was very supportive, and there was always someone willing to help with any problems.Good training was given before becoming operational in the role.
Culture
A very supportive culture. Some extra-curricular and out of work activities were arranged and these were generally enjoyable.
Your Impressions
I did enjoy my placement. However I found the role to get a little repetitive towards the end of my time, and would've liked to be given new responsibilities.

Do it. A very supportive culture. Also there is the possibility of shadowing people and teams in various roles around the office.
