Overview
Working with data, spreadsheets and interactions on site/with suppliers to improve packaging standards and environmental impact for the UKLC and Cummins.
Skills
Have learnt to view things in a more broad sense as opposed to the purely analytical way I did so before. Also learnt to communicate better with people in a workplace environment
Responsibilities
I was given more responsibility than I expected going in. From near enough the beginning I have been treated as a full time employee would as opposed to just a placement student may be percieved.
Support & Guidance
Have received plenty of support from the start, from my manager, colleagues and mentor that Cummins has provided.
Culture
Atmosphere and culture has been very positive, everyone extremely helpful and co-operative.
Your Impressions
I've enjoyed it immensely, I've got exactly what I wanted out of it and more that I didn't expect but am grateful to have received
Yes
Even if at first you don't succeed, wait four months and they might just offer you a job anyway. They always keep you in mind if you present yourself well
