    • Yes, I am responsible for a multi-million pound portfolio and manage relationships with at least 7 suppliers and many stakeholders within Centrica.

    • Receive a lot of support providing you reach out to others including one to one contact with my manager daily and the careers team to reach out to whenever I have a query.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Really friendly culture, where colleagues are approachable. Supportive teams that want to help you learn and achieve in your role. The culture in terms of home working is very high, it is dependent on the team/role you are in but many choose to work online which can for new starts be slightly isolating.

    • It was slow moving to begin with but now I am embedded in my team and role and have more responsibility I am really enjoying it.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Centrica

    • Come prepared with basic knowledge of the company and it's values as those are regarded highly. It is a great place to work but as mentioned there is a high focus on flexible-first home working so may not be for those who prefer to be in the office and like in person contact.
