  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it tremendously, it provided me with terrific experience and I found it very challenging.

  • I built up a great rapport with my colleagues, the responsibility and respect they showed me was very encouraging.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was urged to be independant simply by the fact my job role required intiative and diversity. However, whenever i really needed help, someone was always there to provide it.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The first few weeks was quite slow, but this is to be expected due to getting into the job. When i fully got into it, I was providing with very challenging but reachable deadlines which kept me very busy.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility, I led projects and others were dependant on me for their own deadlines.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I gained invaluable skills during my placement and they will help me through my careers for the rest of my life.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It wasn't the most fun filled office, this was partly due to the professionalism everyone seemed to show. However I found i could hold good conversations with my colleagues.

  • Very well organised, at no point did i feel the company were not prepared or equipped for my placement.

  • I found my supervisor was always interested to see how I was getting on and kept track of my progress.

  • I appear to have performed competently and hope to be considered in the future if any job placements occur.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Went out for a few drinks but didnt make any life long friends.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I commuted from where i went to university so the petrol costed quite a bit.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Quite a quiet place and didn't have a very lively night life.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • People organised things such as go carting and team walk. However only a couple of times throughout the year.
