  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Gained invaluable practical skills while on placement at gsk which will help my analytical skills in the future

  • Very good group of people I worked with in DMPK at Stevenage, always had a good time at work.

  • Managers and Supervisor always made sure I was doing good from day 1 they made sure I had enough money, had a house etc.

  • Sometimes very busy and other times you did struggle to find something to do

  • was responsible for planning my own workload, creating reports and giving presentations on my work. Would maybe have liked a little bit more chance to plan studies.

  • Definetely skills which will help with my degree and beyond in my career

  • Graduate recruitment scheme is a possibility and fast track in this process is available. No R&D graduate roles advertised though.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • 5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost of going out was as at home really so can't complain. Rental prices are quite high and I would recommend multiple sharing in a house to keep costs down.

  • Didn't get much experience of the nightlife.

  • I take part in a number of activities during the week including Thai Boxing.
