The Role
Gained invaluable practical skills while on placement at gsk which will help my analytical skills in the future
Very good group of people I worked with in DMPK at Stevenage, always had a good time at work.
Managers and Supervisor always made sure I was doing good from day 1 they made sure I had enough money, had a house etc.
Sometimes very busy and other times you did struggle to find something to do
was responsible for planning my own workload, creating reports and giving presentations on my work. Would maybe have liked a little bit more chance to plan studies.
Definetely skills which will help with my degree and beyond in my career
The Company
Always having a good joke with each other.
Allow you to go and experience different departments, attend lectures.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Graduate recruitment scheme is a possibility and fast track in this process is available. No R&D graduate roles advertised though.
The Culture
Cost of going out was as at home really so can't complain. Rental prices are quite high and I would recommend multiple sharing in a house to keep costs down.
Didn't get much experience of the nightlife.
I take part in a number of activities during the week including Thai Boxing.
