Overview
I assist in tax analysis of capital expenditure on a wide range of property acquisitions/developments, delivering claim reports to a high standard to ensure clients’ expectations are met. I help speed processes up by integrating additional workflows and technology into existing frameworks to help bring additional business and capacity to the team.
Skills
Yes, I've been given a multitude of different opportunities ranging from calls with the global team to huge exposure to the commercial real estate industry. I am currently working on some exciting projects to bring graduates from other firms and collaborate as the future leaders of these firms.
Responsibilities
Yes a lot of responsibility was given - but also a lot of opportunties were provided and it was up to us whether we wanted to pursue them or not!
Support & Guidance
We have fortnightly training afternoons specific to becoming chartered and this is often useful as I did not have the experience of the real estate industry or an accounting background.
Culture
Fantastic, you feel completely at home and the fact that I was a non-cognate graduate never played detriment.

Read up on the RISE Values - they are an integral aspect to the CBRE culture. In addition to this, be open to the wide array of opportunities that may be presented and be open to take up tasks that you may not be confident in as there will always be a strong support network to help guide you through it.
