Overview
Software Engineering using Ansible, Jenkins, Python and a variety of Linux machines.

Responsibilities
I was given the responsibility to work on github issues to with instruction from the team, as well as work on the full lifecycle of additions to out infrastructure where i was able to make independent decisions.
Support & Guidance
LOTS! All of the team were really helpful in onboarding us and had sessions to bring out knowledge up the the required level. They were also available throughout the placement and went above and beyond to help me learn more and more.
Culture
Company culture was relaxing and not stressful at all. whilst the working environment was aging and could do with a refurb, the people is what makes hursley the best is can be, everyone i encountered was very friendly, welcoming, and willing to help.

I enjoyed the placement and was able to meet so many people, learn about so many different topics, backgrounds and ideas that I never knew existed.
