Overview
- Lots of webinars throughout the week so you can network with other vacation schemers across all the offices - Allocated to one department where you will spend time, but you are encouraged to speak and gain insight into other department too - I did a few major tasks involving contracts - Complete a commercial presentation at the end of the week
Skills
- Time organisation- I wanted to get as much as exposure but at the same time have my presentation prepped and ready! - Networking - you’re expected to speak to lots of new and different people - Confidence - Shoosmiths likes people who are genuinely themselves
Business Insight
It was great, the presentation at the end is a great way to demonstrate you learnt a lot about the firm and how to incorporate the weeks learning to show you understood it.
Culture
Shoosmiths really wants everyone to be themselves- it really was a fantastic experience full of genuine people!
