    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role is very varied, I work on pitches to win sales, marketing brochures, appraisals and valuations all the way through to successful sales and finalizing the legal coordination and due diligence needed to exchange. I often coordinate and facilitate site inspections and client interviews also, I am trusted just as much as those higher up in my team.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have learnt everything needed for this job, i did not know about any of the software needed prior. I can now facilitate complex appraisals to value an asset, I now understand how to pitch correctly and complete on a sale of a high value asset.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I am treated the same as qualified surveyors. I am trusted no less due to my age or time in experience. I recently lead the sale of a mixed use investment opportunity on my own, I conducted all the site inspections, coordinated the bids and assisted the client in selecting the successful bid. I was trusted to coordinate the two legal firms to complete the deal for my team.
