Overview
Carrying out account management activites to ensure the team stays on top of all asks that we have received by clients.
Skills
I have learnt many new skills from improving my ability on Microsoft office applications to soft skills learnt being in meeting rooms and interacting with senior colleagues.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given way more responsibility than i initially thought i would before starting and this has helped me develop quickly and grow into the role.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of guidance from my manager and my counsellor throughout the experience, as well as a weeks handover from the graduate that I was replacing.
Culture
It was great, every was very friendly, welcoming and just happy to help. I felt part of the team from day one and never felt as if i was treated like a young inexperienced student.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed this placement massively, I am hoping to come back to EY after finishing my university degree.
Yes
Make sure to align yourself to the key values of the company and ensure they fit with you. Figure out an answer to the question "why EY?" and this will give you a purpose when applying and hopefully working at the firm.
