Overview
My job during the first few months at JLR was to strengthen design and creativity abilities aligning with company standards since we believed that creativity could accelerate innovation. My skill to find and debug errors was enhanced with this task. In a nutshell, my placement as a product engineer at Jaguar Land Rover has been an invaluable experience that has deepened my passion for automotive engineering and equipped me with the skills to thrive in the industry.
Skills
My first industrial experience was with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), as a Product Engineer working with Model-Based Intelligent Developing squad. I became proficient in handling and managing projects, leading team, and facilitating meetings in an agile way. I was committed to completing all the tasks and projects assigned to me, which resulted in contributing 1/4 of the team incremental product delivery. JLR developed the spark of innovation in me through crowdsourcing and design thinking. Over time I managed to develop a good network across JLR and made my work and effort reflect in the business. Within the 12 months period I widened my knowledge on various tools and software like GITLAB, MATLAB, Big Query, Python and Tableau.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given to work on specific tasks and take ownership on the work I do. It heled me develop my experience that has deepened my passion for automotive engineering and equipped me with the skills to thrive in the industry.
Support & Guidance
My team and Undergraduate team provided help and support whenvever I needed. I really enjoyed and learned more during this placement

Your Impressions
The JLR undergraduate team made sure that within the 12 months period I truly understand the meaning of modern and luxury brand and experience the advantage of being part of JLR. Out of many events I participated in JLR, some of them helped me understand the brand JLR
