Overview
My specific role during my placement year was the CRM intern. I was responsible for being the digital point of contact for all email related enquiries and advise brands on email & CRM best practice, upskilling and advising on optimisations to make to improve email performance. I would also report on weekly and monthly basis to deliver insights and recommendations to optimise performance and acquisition.

I was given very high levels of support from my managers and team members which made me feel very supported and welcomed as soon as I started my placement.
Culture
The company's environment is very face-paced and you are always busy with new projects making sure they are constantly following industry trends. The atmosphere in the office is very fun and I felt I could thrive in my job role
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement at L'Oréal, even though it was very busy and at some points, very difficult, I was supported at every point of the year and if I ever needed any help there was always someone to help guide me through.

Always push yourself outside your comfort zone because that is what makes you better in your role. Be pro-active, passionate, focussed, flexible, resilient and organised.
