Overview
Daily tasks include supporting on general team admin and press office functions, such as pitching and delivering assets to press. We also support with finance. We are also put onto campaigns for the UK and EMEA, where we help in delivering events and junkets.
Skills
Yes, my communications skills have massively improved, as has my knowledge of the media landscape. I am proficient in using finance systems, namely SAP, and have also developed brilliant time management skills in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Yes, all interns are treated as members of the team, and I was given my own projects and campaigns to own and lead.
Support & Guidance
Huge amounts. I had weekly 1:1's with my line manager, and also had a big team around me to help with my job.
Culture
The office is a very fun and exciting place to be. Intern culture is great as we have a big cohort, and the office is always lively and buzzing with new campaigns and project.
Your Impressions
It was one of the best years of my life, and a great gateway into an industry I love.
