Overview
Daily tasks vary based on what projects I am supporting on. Tasks can include extracting and collating data, creating process flows and supporting the benefits tracking of projects. I interact with a number of Project/Programme managers, Operations Managers, and IT.
Skills
Developed communication skills, excel skills, presentation skills. Developed a high-level overview of different business functions with deep dives in specific areas of interest.
Responsibilities
After 9 months of placement I was given the responsibility of Project Manager on a project relating to the implementation of a Vendor Management System to manage agency resource in line with new contractual agreements. I had support and guidance from my team.
Support & Guidance
A good amount. This fluctuated in line with how much support and guidance was needed at any one time.

Very friendly company to be apart of.
Your Impressions
Going on placement is an invaluable experience that I would recommend to anyone. Of course it is not going to be enjoyable all of the time however, the attitude you have to the year hugely impacts the level of enjoyment you get. I went in open minded and accepted any opportunities that I could and with that came a good amount of enjoyment.
