Overview
Systems engineer - day to day involves various software and hardware based tasks, primarily in my role this was coding and document writing, has also included design tasks, involvement in meetings and development of soft skills such as management, communication and productivity

Responsibilities
yes - felt like I was responsible for large parts of development which allowed me to take on tasks as my own, also helped develop my level of communication further to keep team members up to speed with what was going on in my project.
Support & Guidance
Frequent communications with my manager as well as with other members of my team, felt like I had a lot of guidance and help with what the correct way forward in my own project was and helped me feel confident in what I was doing
Culture
Cares a lot about the individual employee, felt like I was encouraged to get my work done but also to not overwork in the week, very supportive of when things went wrong and how those mistakes could be solved

Enjoyed this placement very much and would highly consider returning to this company once my degree is fulfilled
