Overview
My day to day role includes looking at system requirements and updating them. Along with this, I also look at diagrams and models which allow me to solve problems relating to tests within the systems team.
Skills
Yes, I have learnt new softwares which I previously did not have any knowledge on
Responsibilities
I was treated as an equal member of the team despite being new to systems engineering however I was also given a lot of support during my tasks
Support & Guidance
I had regular meetings to talk about my progress and to raise any concerns. Other than this, I could contact my manager any time as well
Culture
It was enthusiastic and fun. Everyone got along with each other and it didn't seem like you couldn't talk to anyone
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it thoroughly. It allowed me to communicate with engineers who have been in the industry long before I was born. It also allowed me to explore my career options and give me a taste of what engineering work in industry is like
