Overview
We had many workshops and coding sessions in which we were walked through different types of testing and coding practices. We were split into pairs / threes to work on mock interview tasks (technical), code debugging etc. We had some helpful talks on recruitment process tips and advices. We also had a Q&A with a recruiter.
Skills
Yes - working with other people and discussing solutions within our small groups helped me pick up some coding practices. Learning to read other people's code and doing things like live code sharing.
Business Insight
We weren't given a lot of information about that but we were given guidance on where we can find those information
Culture
Great.
Your Impressions
This was one of the best insight programmes I have been to so far. The workshops were challenging and informative and the tips and advice about the recruitment process were also very in-depth and very helpful. The Q&A session was also very productive. One downside is the lack of organisation in the workshops - i.e. problems with breakout rooms, technical difficulties with signing up to the AWS accounts, etc.
