The Role
A bit challenging at first but thoroughly enjoyed it towards the end
I felt that I was actually helping them and apart of the team
My manager was very helpful and supportive
Some days were busier than others but I always found I had something to be doing
Certain tasks were delegated where I felt very independent
I have developed so many skills, both academic and social, that will help me after I leave my placement.
The Company
The majority of the time people tended to get on with their work so it was quite quiet
Very organised- I was told from the begining what would happen in the year ahead and the type of work I would be getting involved in
There were many opportunities to do training courses
Flexi Time
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Given the opportunity, I would be delighted to return back
The Culture
Yes, we usually ate lunch together and organised outside of work events now and again
Living in the outskirts of London was still quite expensive but cheap compared to central areas, socialising was usually done in central London.
The nightlife was generally in the center of London which was about 30 minutes away on the tube.
Yes, there were work events almost every other month occuring outside of work
