Skills
No
Responsibilities
No. I have been bored and had nothing to do throughout most of my time.
Support & Guidance
I had support from everyone around if I asked for it. However no one took an interest in me to see if I was doing a good job.
Culture
In the BMW Group, it is more important to look busy than actually doing work. No matter what results you provide or how much you dedicate yourself (i.e. coming to the office instead of working from home), it all amounts to nothing in times when you are not busy. Instead you are being criticised for not working and having your calendar too empty.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed certain benefits which came with working at the BMW Group. However my actual job role was not enjoyable at all. I was bored and had nothing to do more often than not, and then was criticised because of it. Also, I had no access to training and felt like I did not matter in most discussions that were happening around me.
No
There certainly are benefits in working at BMW. However, don't dedicate yourself towards impressing your bosses and doing good for the company, as that is not appreciated at all and you are just overworking yourself with no personal gain. Instead, focus on what the company can provide you and profit from this as much as possible.
