Overview
I am a Sales Associate, this involves various aspects from demand generation to demand management. I create daily reports that help the operational aspects of Sales. I also get to engage with customers at meetings and events , growing my network.
Skills
I have developed my communication skills from working in a large team. I have also improved my confidence by having to put myself there when networking.
Responsibilities
I was given my own projects which I had to take ownership and responsibility for when it came to meeting deadlines.
Support & Guidance
I think more support could have been offered throughout the year, it was really good at the start but senior people became less interested throughout the year.
Culture
Great company culture, very welcoming and helped me fit in.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my placement as it has taught me a lot but I think more support could be given. As a sales associate you don't get as much responsibility as other interns as colleagues like to keep interns away from their customers.
Yes
I would advise you to take into consideration the location as it is in Feltham which is tricky to get too if you live outside of Feltham. Be confident and yourself, it is more about what you skills you can develop over experience youve already got.
