  • Yes, I was trusted with carrying out requests from headquarters, as well as being accountable for certain projects.

  • Good guidance at the start of the placement, from a general onboarding. My manager was supportive and made sure I had a variety of opportunities to get involved in.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Hierarchical, fast-paced and dynamic. Striving for excellence, but there was pressure to be overly deferential to superiors, particularly in HQ.

  • I enjoyed my work, and my direct team were supportive and patient with me. I would’ve enjoyed working with people closer to my age group however.

  • Accept that the work will be hard during busy periods. There is also a large Korean cultural influence at the company.
