Overview
On my day to day job I support the team by managing the finance and legal process when raising POs. Supporting with content creation of campaigns Asset approvals Feedback on creative ideas targeted for Gen Z audience Managing briefs directed to internal agency Assuring the talents receive all the products included in their contract Assure all the products are ready and available for shooting days Shoot days support
Skills
Yes. I have learned finance skills, content creation, copy writing, It skills. I have perfectioned my organisational skills as Samsung is a very fast paced environment, networking, time management, flexibility.
Responsibilities
Yes. From handling important briefs for internal campaigns to raising contracts of a generous amounts, I was considered as same as a proper member of the team
Support & Guidance
My team and all the people had been working with were always really helpful, even when I made mistakes. My manager on the first day said that at Samsung there are no silly questions and it is true. Everyone is willing to help you learn as they are aware that is a completely different world to uni
Culture
Everyone is pretty chill and friendly. When interacting when Korean stakeholders it is important to take accountability of the cultural difference, but apart from that all the people are nice
Your Impressions
I have really enjoyed my year at Samsung, I loved working on really cool projects and being able to shout about them. As any experience, sometimes you have a bit of a rocky period. It gets really busy here so if you are not willing to go the extra mile it's not for you.
