Overview
Assisting my department team (Complex and International Recovery Work) in a variety of tasks from legal/claim research, administrative tasks, writing up a statutory demand, and doing a high level review of documents.
Skills
My organisational skills have developed this week given the nature of the work, juggling a number of tasks and deadlines. Communication has also been a key skill this week that I have had to employ and develop. Communicating with the rest of my team and across departments.
Business Insight
The employee/graduate development program was explained very well and was very encouraging.
Culture
Collaboration focused, approachable. The firm has a down to earth feel to it.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it very much to the extent that it helped me develop my core skills, introduced me to legal work and how a professional environment functions on a day to day basis. Furthermore, the people I worked alongside including my fellow vacation scheme students were a pleasure to work with.
