Overview
The first two weeks of each month focus heavily on forecasting, with the final week having a focus on financial reporting. On the day to day, standard business support will be required, such as updating excel files, but the major emphasis is managing delivery of projects. The role constantly changes however, with constant opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities
At the beginning of the placement there was limited responsibility, however as the role has developed and my own skillset has grown, there has been a dramatic increase in responsibilities - having managed 5 projects over the course of my placement.
Support & Guidance
My manager and the wider Marine team gave exceptional support throughout, even once they moved to other areas of the company they made it clear I could reach out at any time.
Culture
I have never worked in a team which was so enthusiastic and supportive of one another; it was clear from the get go that they all got along and enjoyed what they did for a living. The company values were epitomised on daily basis.
Your Impressions
I loved every minute of it, even when things went wrong it was a fantastic experience that I will always look back on fondly.
Yes
Embrace every opportunity you are offered. Don't be scared when you make mistakes, it is expected from a placement. Ask for support and you will 100% receive it.
