The Role
My placement was very enjoyable, I could not have asked for a better place to work. I was given so many opportunities.
I felt very valued by my mentor and others in my department. We often soicalised outside of work too. Unfortunately senior management did not really know what I did throughout the year.
My mentor was so supportive. There was not a silly question that I could ask. He was very supportive and gave me a lot of responsibility.
The work load was perfectly balanced, I never felt over worked or felt bored.
I was given a lot of responsibility, and I was in full control of many studies.
I have learnt a lot of skills that I can pass back to my final year at university as well as to other jobs. I have gained confidence from presentations and time management skills from organising my work. I have been to so many courses on coaching, giving presentations etc. which have also helped.
The Company
Most of the people in my office were quite old so not much fun was had in the office. There were six other students so between us we had alot of fun.
Very well structured, we hada well organised training course at the start.
They provide us with a lot of training and they also offer us fast tracking to their graduate schemes
Flexi Time
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop

Working from home
There are graduate schemes available that IP students can be fast tracked on to. There are also opportunities to go straight in to a job.
The Culture
There were only 12 IP students at the site I worked at so we all are very close. It may have been nicer to have more IPs around.
I lived in West Drayton which has little social scene. I wish I lived somewhere more exciting. However it was cheap to live there as well as very close to work.
Terrible. We ended up going in to central London or to Windsor a lot.
I joined the running club. There was a football team too.
