Overview
At the start of the role, I started reviewing electrical schematics other engineers in my team had designed against a series of technical and aesthetic rules and constraints. For example, ratings of specific circuit breakers and relays. Furthermore, I assisted in the design of various schematics due to engineering change orders using the previous knowledge gained through reviews

Responsibilities
At the start of the placement was only given small task with varying levels of importance. However, by the end of the placement was given lots of responsibility to help my colleagues with getting various documents up to professional standard for release
Support & Guidance
Support was given by the university however it was only twice in the year from placement tutor
Culture
Very corporate company so everything takes longer to happen in comparison to a smaller scale company. However, if any help was need many colleagues were happy to help and would take time to help me
Your Impressions
The placement was enjoyable even though a some points felt very slow due to lack of work. Work quantity very much had peak and troughs with very busy and then very quiet periods
