Business Insight
Very enlightening. Felt like we were truly part of the firm.
Culture
Truly amazing. The people at the firm are so lovely, friendly, and would go out of their way to help you when you got stuck on something. I felt settled from day one. Not only were the other vacation scheme participants really nice, but so was everyone else I crossed paths with.
Your Impressions
Very much enjoyed it. There were a multitude of opportunities for us to get stuck into across the two weeks. The socials were also very fun, and I thought it was a lovely touch that we were invited to the firm's summer party.
Yes
Be yourself and don't try and pretend you're something you're not; the firm is very inclusive and looks for genuine, lovely people that have great potential. The Assessment Centre is challenging, as you need to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a commitment to the profession, but throw yourself into it and trust the process. Also, make sure to thoroughly research the firm and tailor your application to that research.
