Overview
Being the coordinator and project manager of localisation projects for EMEA and APAC
Skills
Huge boost to confidence; presentation skills; project management; intercultural communication
Responsibilities
A suspicious amount of responsibility - while it worked for me and pushed me to my limit, I can absolutely see how it could all go wrong for other people. More support is needed early on.
Support & Guidance
I was trained by the previous intern for 2 weeks but felt very underprepared for the job. Luckily I had other colleagues to support me.
Culture
Very laid back and friendly - except for one member who created a very toxic atmosphere - but that person has left now!
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed this internship and it has helped me figure out what I want to do career wise
Yes
They’re moving to Chiswick which is a real shame and will make it harder for people to get into the office - be aware of the commute. Also, establish your work/life balance early so people don’t expect ridiculous amounts from You!
