Overview
Tracking and analysing sales figures, promotions and new product launches Supporting national account team in tailoring new launches and maximising their success. Taking on and managing my own projects, long and short term, relating to retail sell out with a major UK salon chain. Attending product launch events in collaboration with our accounts as the face of L’Oreal Working with retailers on collaborative ideas to support growth in the account/brand.
Skills
I have been able to develop time management, organisational and networking skills. Some exposure to project management and leadership.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibility of large projects to promote retail sell out for a National Account, outside of these I was trusted to work independently on daily tasks
Support & Guidance
As an office based employee on a team working remotely/ in the field I didn't always feel supported enough. My 1:1 with HR representative never got rearranged after cancellation
Culture
For the most part I found everyone at L'Oreal really friendly, the upskilling and training opportunities to develop both soft and hard skills was great. Always a consideration of work / life balance and general looking out for well being of employees.
Your Impressions
It was a brilliant experience and loved the exposure to working in a corporate environment.
Yes
Be authentic and honest about yourself to others, don't feel the need to pretend you know everything straight off the cuff.
