Overview
Answering calls and emails from candidates. Pushing them through the recruitment process eg screening video interviews or booking them onto Assessment Centres etc
Skills
I was able to develop my excel skills as you have to pull lots of reports to organise candidates. I learnt so much about working in a professional environment - the office has a very positive atmosphere which allowed me to feel comfortable about asking questions and ultimately allowed me to grow massively.
Responsibilities
I was given more as the Graduate equivalent of my role left around January and as I had experience with the client I naturally adopted a higher responsibility role. This isn't always the case for CES' and before January, my responsibility was very limited and less enjoyable.
Support & Guidance
There was lots of support and guidance. I grew into my role massively and that was down to my manager who was a pleasure to work under. I couldn't have asked for a better team so I would definitely say there was an abundance of support and guidance!
Culture
It was fabulous - best part of my placement year. The culture at Amberjack from day 1 was extremely positive and made it so enjoyable working with everyone. I have felt extremely welcome since the day I started
Your Impressions
I loved my placement because of the growth I have seen in myself as a person. The job itself can get tedious at times but as I said, I was lucky enough to take on more responsibility which definitely helped me enjoy my job more. I have learnt so much about the working world it truly has been an insightful experience.
Yes
The volume while you are working can get stressful. But if you are prepared to work hard, you can push through it because it is a job anyone can do if you work hard.
