Overview
Working within the Group Financial control team, spending time with both Financial Close and Financial Planning and Analysis. Within Financial close I have worked on Bank reconciliations, before progressing to the WIP reconciliation and now responsibile for the Fixed asset process through to asset Capitalisation. Within FP&A I have been responsible for Budget returns and partnering of a department- challenging figures&commenatry, producing and sharing financial dashboards and involvement in the annual budget process.

Responsibilities
The responsibility and trust I was given throughout my placement has been invaluable and more than I had ever imagined. Without being given the responsibility and independence I believe I would not have had as much success.
Support & Guidance
I had a range of individuals who would offer lots of support and guidance, from my Line Manager, team, colleagues from across the business and the Early Talent leaders and cohort.
Culture
The Company is a really nice place to work with a lovely environment and culture.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement and believe I have learnt so much more, especially putting knowledge from uni into practice. I think my experience has been invaluable and key to my future professional development.

To do plenty of research before assessment centres and interviews and if successful make the most of the opportunities provided.
