The Role
Will be sad to leave
Felt part of the team
Always encouraged to ask if I needed help with anything
Usually perfect balance, but it stepped up a notch when I started my project.
I was given a lot of responsibility, but it made you feel even more like a part of the team
Help me to be more organised and help to manage my time more effectively. Learnt more about working in a GLP environment aswell as the use of some new pieces of equipment
The Company
Quite a casual atmosphere, but was never too laid back.
Very well set-up. Was easy to start as the manager had everything sorted out for me when I arrived
Gained training in various pieces of equipment. There weren't any training courses for me to attend however.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Can apply to take part in the FastTrack graduate scheme, which if successfull, bumps forward a job application in the company after graduating
The Culture
Nightlife in the area is a bit poor, but fellow students still arranged to go out to try and keep things interesting
Very expensive for living. Just outside the M25 so you're paying almost London prices.
Poor, had to go to the next village for anything other than traditional pubs
Some opportunities, the work social club often held events but you had to be a member to partake
