  • Usually perfect balance, but it stepped up a notch when I started my project.

  • I was given a lot of responsibility, but it made you feel even more like a part of the team

  • Help me to be more organised and help to manage my time more effectively. Learnt more about working in a GLP environment aswell as the use of some new pieces of equipment

  • Quite a casual atmosphere, but was never too laid back.

  • Very well set-up. Was easy to start as the manager had everything sorted out for me when I arrived

  • Gained training in various pieces of equipment. There weren't any training courses for me to attend however.

  • Can apply to take part in the FastTrack graduate scheme, which if successfull, bumps forward a job application in the company after graduating

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Nightlife in the area is a bit poor, but fellow students still arranged to go out to try and keep things interesting

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Very expensive for living. Just outside the M25 so you're paying almost London prices.

  • Poor, had to go to the next village for anything other than traditional pubs

  • Some opportunities, the work social club often held events but you had to be a member to partake
