  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Conducting analysis on sales and developing strategies on the back of this to meet sales targets. Communicating sales performance with wider teams and taking action on their feedback to ensure better sales efficiency. Conducting regular competitor reviews and selecting target areas to push in brochures, email sends, web merchandising and retail stores.

  • I have definitely developed my analytics skills and improved the way I look at and filter information as well as developing critical thinking skills for spotting patters and solving problems without an easy fix. People skills have also Improved after working closely with many people across the business especially when its comes to managing conflicts of interest.

  • The culture is remarkably friendly and welcoming. Coworkers are very interested in getting to know you as a person and your background - and that goes for people across the whole business, not just those within the team you work.

  • Was a great place to spend my placement year - I learned a lot, gained plenty of experience in a business environment, was able to travel, and took on a lot of responsibility within my role - overall TUI had a very positive impact on my career and personal development.
