The Role
Best decision I've ever made!
An amazing set of people!
Regular one to ones, guidance and support the whole way through
Some days were very busy, others were quieter - you have to get the balance right yourself
Much more responsibility than I expected, they trust you which makes you value what you are doing.
I have learned more in this year on placement at Microsoft than I have in the last 2 year of uni!
The Company
Everyone is always up for a laugh, and socialises outside work too
Good communication from our HR team, always there to support if need be.
As an intern you are given many opportunities to take many different Microsoft exams which will be great for the future
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Jobs are competitive even after being an intern there, but put the effort in and there's always hope!
The Culture
Great mix of people - all employed for simliar attributes hence lots of people with simliar interests
Just like any other town
Plenty of nights out - just need to know where to go & when!
Lots of charitiy events you could get involved in and extra projects whether it be fundraising or sport related
