Overview
Updating annual reviews completing one pagers for projects. My first couple of weeks included: emailing NWM to request nominal and real term CLU’s and compare it to last years figures and understand why the figures differ from last year and what caused this. Completing this task allowed my to practice CPC’s in connected through communicating with numerous divisions and critical thinker as I had to I learned to understand why figures have changed due to real term factors such as War in Russia, technical faults etc. Also, I came to my own conclusions as to why DSCR decreased in a period and MGS had a 1 notch downgrade from 10 to 11 which I discovered was because of a delayed unitary charge payment from the local authority. Which slightly increases the risk that the client is unable to pay back the loan however, an 11 MGS is still a low risk overall.

Responsibilities
yes, I felt a valued member of the team who was tasked with independent work such as completing one pagers for multiple projects. I also felt comfortable enough to ask questions when I was not sure due to the welcoming nature of my team which really helped me develop my skills and knowledge as a commercial banker.
Support & Guidance
I was given a lot of guidance and support when needed on my daily tasks in which my manager set up weekly meeting to discuss what I am working on and to ask any questions on things I did not understand
Culture
A very welcoming and supportive culture. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and encourage to meet with other people for coffee chats on different departments to really get a grasp of other sectors in the bank. There is also opportunities to shadow other teams to further learn more about the different divisions in the bank
