Overview
Completing emails and requests, communicating with the rest of my team what reports and tasks need to be completed. Talking to the account managers on any reporting they want.
Skills
Learnt office etiquette, how to write emails, create dashboards, PowerBI, Excel, time management
Responsibilities
A lot, I was given responsibility to get reports out on time and left to create my own and do my own analysis.
Support & Guidance
From other analysts I didn't receive a lot of support and had to learn a lot of tehcnical knowledge myself. However I did receive a lot of guidance from the account managers and team on other aspects of my job. As well as the intern panel being very supportive throughout.
Culture
The company culture is quite relaxed and inclusive, with a big focus on learning and development alongside DE&I. This was felt throughout the office with areas to relax and facilities to aid breaks and have more relaxed meetings with sofas. As well as events like sports day to promote social interaction within the office.
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed my placement and would definitely recommend. With constant new opportunities, I never got bored.
